Tips On What To Do With Your Roses From Valentines Day
Posted on February 27 2017
Don't just smell your roses but think about other delightful ways to repurpose them...
The essential oil from the rose flower is specific for women and has proven useful for stress, nerves, nausea and as an aphrodisiac.
The first thing you want to do is cut your rose flower buds from its stems and let them air dry out. Then try one or both of the recipes below.
Rose Bath Salt
• Add a couple of rose petals or crushed petals to some sea salt/epsom blend with virgin coconut oil and a few drops of lavender essential oil to your hot steam bath. This is so relaxing and delightful.
Rose Scented Sachet
• Add 2 or 3 of your cut rose flowers to a muslin or organza bag, add a few drops of sweet orange essential oil and put it in your lingerie draw, inside your pillow cases, or inside closed shoes for the beautiful scent that this flower offers.
